Quicken Help - Advanced
If you are setting up Quicken for the first time, our name should appear in the list as follows... Lockheed Federal Credit Union. If it does not appear in the list, it is due to your copy of the product being produced before we partnered with Intuit and you should cancel any initial account setup and skip to step 1a. Please note that is very important that you register your copy of Quicken if you wish to use the Web Connect (enable the account for online services) feature.
The following are some guidelines that should help you get "Web Connect" working with your Quicken product if you have already been using Quicken for your Lockheed Federal Credit Union account/s.
1) Open Quicken, go to your register, click on the "Overview" tab, click Edit Account Details button, use drop-down menu to verify if our name is available in the list. If our name does not appear in the list, follow these instructions...
- From the Quicken Online menu, choose One Step Update.
- Clear all of the checkboxes in the One Step Update window, and then click Update Now.
- Click Done in the Online Update Summary window.
2) Enable the account for online services.
- From the Quicken Online menu, , choose Online Account Services Setup.
- Click Edit Existing Quicken Account. (Create new if you don't have an existing or are adding another)
- Select the account that you want to set up for online services, and then click Next.
- Skip step one if you are already using Online Banking as you already have a customer ID and PIN (your member number and Online Banking password).
- Step two will bring up our Online Banking login screen from within Quicken and a help screen, close the help screen and log in, then select the account from the account summery screen you with to import data from, and then, using the interface at the bottom of the list of transactions showing... select an export type (Quicken Financial Exchange - OFX) if you want more history then what is showing, change date range and click on the "More History" button, and then click on the "Download Data" button.
- Once you have successfully completed this process, Activated will appear in the Online Services column in the account list.
