Lockheed Federal Credit Union Sponsors Tournament
Golf Classic Proceeds Benefit Variety Boys and Girls Club
BURBANK, Calif. (April 26, 2007) – Lockheed Federal Credit Union (LFCU) announced today its bronze-level sponsorship of the Variety Boys and Girls Club’s 5th Annual Golf Classic on Friday, April 27, in Pasadena.
The tournament proceeds will benefit the organization’s Adopt-A-Kid Program, which is a support program that enables the club to continue its services for children.
The Club has several daily benefits for its young members, such as:
- Academic assistance with tutoring in their library and learning center
- Creative education in their Arts and Crafts Department
- Athletics in their Physical Education Department
The Variety Boys and Girls Club has a 50-year history of providing worthwhile and meaningful activities and programs to youth in the community, with a goal to serve underprivileged children.
