Lockheed Federal Credit Union Member Appreciation Night a Hit

Los Angeles, Calif. (July 2, 2007) –  Lockheed Federal Credit Union’s Member Appreciation Night at Dodger Stadium was a hit for 500 members on Saturday, June 30.

This event was part of LFCU’s 70th anniversary celebration. Last month, members were offered discounted tickets to members on a first-come, first-served basis.

Two members and their guests won the opportunity to participate in the Dodgers’ on-field, pre-game ceremony. Members Tom Janowitz, his father Lewis Janowitz, along with Chris Allport and his guest Laura Napoli had their names announced in front of a crowd of 53,769 fans. Dodger outfielder Matt Kemp stopped by to take a photo with the members.  

“This is a dream come true,” said Tom Janowitz of North Hollywood. “It’s the best thing that has happened to me in a long time.”

As an additional gift from the credit union, LFCU staff surprised 15 randomly selected members with Dodger Dollars, valid for parking, team apparel and refreshments.

“We value our members and appreciate their loyalty to the credit union. LFCU’s Dodger Night is just one way of saying thank you,” said Dave Styler, LFCU’s President and CEO.
